Friday the 13th Game – Story Mode

6-8 hour milsim type game.

3 teams of 10-12 players and 3 Juggernauts. This can be changed for larger/smaller sites if necessary.

The game is divided into 2 phases;

  1. Get his equipment/Research (4hrs) – This is the phase where they will need to search for the cases/props and bring them to a stash location.
  2. Escape! (Remaining 2hrs) – The escape routes will become activated.

Story

Kropotkin Organisation is a global crime organisations who operates throughout five continents. Their influence is deeply entrenched in many layers of society throughout the world.

Recently they have heard from their sources that a plane carrying Dr. Daneeka and a his new compound from a government laboratory.

The source who only observed early tests informed them that a the new drug produced a sense of euphoria and the inability to feel pain, but that’s all they know.

The bosses want to get their hands on Dr. Daneeka’s research to find out if this compound can be replicated and sold as a narcotic.

The plane is on route when it is shot down over an abandoned area by the Kropotkin Organisation paramilitary team.

The government immediately dispatch Delta Team to find out if Dr. Daneeka is still alive and retrieve any material relating to his research.

The Kropotkin team move in to get anything relating to the research before the government can.

Meanwhile, a small but dedicated group of radicals known as “The Legion” have been after Dr. Daneeka for years. They have been monitoring the dark web and have learned of the Kropotkin plan.

The only person who knew the full details of the matter was Dr. Daneeka. Unfortunately his mangled corpse is unlikely to give them any warning for what is to come.

The drug he has created induces a sense of deep euphoria when killing. This was being developed to make the government soldiers more effective in combat.

It also makes the soldiers ignore pain entirely and physically increases their physical resilience.

The most radical effect of the drug is that it makes the body produce massive amounts of chitin. A fibrous substance consisting of polysaccharides, which is the major constituent in the exoskeleton of arthropods.

Test subjects were also being transported and are now loose with the uncontrollable urge to kill anyone they see.

Players

Each Player team is in competition with the other player teams.

The team who escapes with the most Intel items is the winner.

Every player wears one of their tourniquets on their arm. When hit, they call the hit and stay put for 5 minutes (bleed-out).

If they are not revived in the 5 minutes, they respawn at one of the entrances. If there is combat ongoing at an entrance, they can go to another one to respawn.

Their teammates can use one of their spares to revive their teammate. The revived teammate wears the tourniquet used.

Jason can retrieve the tourniquet they were wearing when shot.

10-12 players per team.

Players start with:

  • Gun – hits stun Jason for 5 seconds
  • Torch
  • Midcap Mags
  • 3 Tourniquets
  • Grenades optional – Stun Jason for 30 seconds

Juggernauts

The juggernauts only objective is to murder as many players as possible including Hunters (if there are any in the game).

They collect trophies (tourniquets). The Juggernaut with the most tourniquets at the end of the game is the winner.

Juggernauts cannot move props.

Juggernauts don’t have to have the mask, but it would look great. They should have heavy padding and as big a gun as possible. Minigun would be amazing but a drum mag/LMG would be great also.

Something like that.

Juggernauts – can only walk. They are invincible but must pause for 5 seconds if shot and 30 seconds if hit with a grenade.

Bluetooth speakers – Juggernauts need to be heard. It is part of the game. Bluetooth speakers would be good for this as they are cheap, pretty loud and small enough to carry around. They could have a playlist of awesome music of their choice.

This is somewhat of a mimic of the video game where you can hear the music getting louder as Jason gets closer.

Hunters

The only players who can use NVGs are hunters. They work alone and are in competition with other hunters and Jasons.

They take hits normally and have to re-spawn at an entrance. They are also targets for Jason.

Hunters start with a tourniquet on their arm and get a new one when they respawn.

Escape!

In the last 2 hours of the game a siren will go off signalling that the teams need to get out of there as soon as possible.

Each escape method can only be used once.

There are several ways to do this:

Helicopter Evac

Get to an area designated as LZ (in Simtac you could use one or both of the helicopters).

Players have to find the Flare/radio, get to the LZ and activate a siren (which will be at the LV). They then have to survive for 3 minutes.

Hot-wire a Car/Bus

Find the Jerry Can and take it to a designated vehicle (preferably a car, we can put a light on the active vehicle). It takes one minute to start the car.

One player cannot shoot during this time as they are  busy hot-wiring the car.

If something Like this were possible it would be great. You want the props to be noticible. Credit: Manutan

The Long Road

You can get out by just running out of there. But where to go. Find a map of the site with an exit marked on it.

Naturally, the exit will be a good distance from where the map will be found.

They take the map with them.

Pickups

  • Speed loaders with extra ammo (with luminous tape).
  • Extra Tourniquets/Med-packs. – Individual tourniquet with each case and three to a medpack which there will be as pickups.
  • Riot shields – These will help in defending against Jason and buying time to escape and relocate.

Prop List

  • Cloth Strips (Tourniquets) – 3 per player + 30 as pickups. More in the respawns.
  • Gerry can (for the Hotwire escape)
  • Jason Suits – Heavy padding, Mask.
    • LMG/Drum mag – (one per Jason)
    • Bluetooth Speaker (one per Jason)
  • Luminous tape (for the props)
  • Resource Props (cases, boxes, Etc.) Need to figure out how many. Probably about 30-40 as I want there to be a fair few and want to avoid it devolving into a series of raids later in the game.
  • Site map with an exit marked (Long Road escape. Needs to be marked with an exit far away from where the map is placed)
  • Siren to indicate that it’s time to escape
  • Siren (for the Helicoper Evac)
  • Speed loaders
    • BBs

Potential Sites

I have looked at a few sites which might work well for the game.

We have been looking into Simtac primarily as it has a great mix of terrain and a lot of rooms to search on multiple levels.

Simtac

I really like the idea of doing it in Spec Ops also but we might save this for a second event if the first one goes well. It has multiple locations with structures and connecting forest. There is a good bit of space and I think it would be very atmospheric.

SpecOps
